Pillars of Peace |
Based in Nairobi, Kenya, Nuria is part of the Interpeace Regional Office team for Eastern and Central Africa. |
Interpeace and its three Somali partners: the Puntland Development Research Center (PDRC), the Academy for Peace and Development (APD) and the Center for Research and Dialogue (CRD) are currently implementing two interlinked programmes: Pillars for Peace and the Democratization programme. In Puntland, PDRC also has an additional Mobile Audio-Visual project, which aims to stimulate discussions on peace, democracy, and security using films with youth and rural communities.
Interpeace local partners: Puntland Development Research Center (PDRC) in Puntland, Academy for Peace and Development (APD) in Somaliland, Center for Research and Dialogue (CRD) in South-Central Somalia
Goal: To build upon more than fourteen years of experience in peacebuilding and support for institution building in order to continue to advance and underpin the consolidation of peace throughout the Somali region through consensus-oriented, integrated approaches to statebuilding and peacebuilding.
